Everything was really good, had a really enjoyable stay in Donegal town. The location was stunning, a 10-15 minute walk from Diamond Obelisk. Besides, it was near to attached restaurant, Donegal Town and the town centre.

We were so impressed by the spacious and clean room and the amazing breakfast with tons of options. The garden area was a perfect spot to unwind, and the cozy lounge made our evenings super relaxing. Just a small note, having a few more herbal tea choices in the room would be nice 🌿

Families looking for a great getaway
The staff helped us keep our surprise party hidden until the big reveal, priceless! Plus, the food in the Blas was superb, everything cooked to perfection.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but given the service, it was still reasonable.

The Gateway Lodge offered great comfort . The rooms felt spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. I loved the charming decor, which gave a nice touch to the atmosphere. The breakfast was great with a variety of freshly made options. Location couldn't be better, with easy access to Donegal town and surrounding attractions. The room temperature ran a bit warm at night, which affected sleep quality. There's no bar on site, which can be a downside for relaxation after a day of exploring. Would appreciate if they added some more areas to unwind around the hotel.
